Holguin City
Holguin, nicknamed the City of Parks, is the capital of the province of the same name, and fourth largest city in Cuba. Founded in 1752, the city still bears the marks of colonial architecture that blends by lush gardens and brightly colored buildings. The provincial capital is located 50-60 km (about 1 hour drive) from the popular beach resort areas located along the northern coast (between Guardalavaca and Rafael Freyre).

Loma de la Cruz: This historic hill is one of the main symbols of Holguin, from the top you can enjoy breathtaking views of the city
Museo de Historia Natural Carlos de la Torre Huerta (Carlos de la Torre Huerta Natural History Museum) : It provides an overview of Cuba's flora and fauna, especially the ones found in the north-eastern region of the country.
Catedral de San Isidro (San Isidro Cathedral): This beautiful 18th century neoclassical church is one of the town's original construction.
Museo Casa Natal de Calixto Garcia (Calixto Garcia Museum): Birthplace of Major General Calixto Garca, hero of the 19th century wars of independence.
Conjunto Monumentario Plaza de la Revolucion (Revolutionary Square Monumental Ensemble) consists of : The Revolution Square, the General Calixto García Mausoleum, and the Forest of Heroes
Cabaret Nocturno : Tropicana-style cabaret shows with dinner, later in the night the place converts to a discotheque.
Mirador de Mayabe (Mayabe Lookout): Panoramic views of the countryside from a hilltop a few kilometers south of Holguin City.
